Who woulda thunk it, but my phone gave me some headaches today, traveling to the state fair.

Seems the Sprint Navigator doesn't tie in with any other programs any more.

Contacts for one:
Used to be, you brought up the menu when in Contact Detail view, and it had a "Drive To" to tap on, that brought up the SN. This option is not available on my phone at all.

The Search feature of the SN didn't bring any correct results for Oklahoma State Fair. So I looked on Bing. It brought up the address and the very scaled down Directions to get there.

I tried to copy the address to paste it directly into the SN, but alas - can't cross copy & paste between the two programs.

Luckily, Bings lets you Save To Contacts, which I did, but - here we are again - there isn't any longer an option to Drive To the contact.

Did I miss anything?

I just found this and am not quite sure how well it works yet. Go to "Share and More" on the main Nav page and then "My Stuff".  I got an option to import my contacts into Sprint Nav. It didn't work right, so I think I need to tinker with it a bit, but it looks like there might be a way to get it working...

I don't get it - I think they messed this all up on our phones:
I go to Share & More
My Stuff
My Contacts
Copy Contacts from Phone

now all my contacts are showing up - so far so good.

Now I click on a contact - this is where it fails again:
Only options are Edit & Delete and Back.
No Add to Favorites
No "GO"

Why would I import my contacts, when it can't use them at all?

You guys are right.  I travel by car a lot and use the same features discussed above and had the same problems.  I lobe using windows live voice search then mapping it, but I do not like the map at all.  I like the sprint nav but I do not like the limited functioning and the fact that it has been lagging behind my actual location.  I hear verizon navigation is having same lag problem.  I hope I dont have to go to google.
