I keep seeing references to Outlook Mobile and that it is part of Office Mobile, but I've never seen it on either my old Dell Axim (updated to WinMo 6.1) or my new TP2. Is it supposed to be loaded on the TP2? It would certainly be a better calendar program than the basic one that comes with the phone.

Outlook Mobile consists of your phone calendar, outlook email, address book & notes. The standard apps that are on every Windows pda since inception. They synchronize with the desktop version of Outlook (like Outlook 2007)

You find the other Windows Office apps in a programs folder "Office Mobile". It contains Excel, One Note, Power Point and Word.

I was curious because when I see screen shots of "Outlook Mobile" - either Calendar, E-Mail or Contacts, it looks very different than the screen I see... even the headers say Outlook E-mail and I sure don't see that on my phone

That's what made me wonder.

I'll post some screen shots of the Tp2 outlook stuff when my phone gets home. The ones you posted are past renders of Outlook on the "unenhanced" interfaces. They're just a little bit more finger friendly on the TP2.

Edit:
Okay, got the screen shots.
