New Member chose the TP2 rather than the Evo

Maybe I'm crazy. I could have the Evo in my hands right now. Instead I chose the TP2.
My reasons as as follows:
1. I wanted a Qwerty Keyboard (at least once in my life) TP2 has a great keyboard
2. I wanted 1 more year with a WM phone-Not ready to jump to Android and so far
not to excited about WM7
3. From everything I read the TP2 was and will be the best WM6-6.5 mobile phone.

So 2 weeks ago I called Sprint retentions and they really made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Got the TP2 for $150 AND a $10 credit on my account for 24 months. Is there any fan of the TP2 that could have passed up an offer like that?

Besides if I stay 1 year behind in the technology, that's the kind of deal I'll get for the Evo or whatever Android phone I want next year as long as it isn't the newest release.

So that's my story of how I came to own a TP2 2 weeks before the Evo launch

I still like the TP2 more than everything I've seen.

The keyboard continues to be great. Windows Mobile is everything I figured it'd be when I signed on for it. I'm content in that way. I don't think it's suited for everyone, though.
