Hi from China

Hi, I just bought an HTC Touch Pro 2 T7373!  I like it already.  It figured out that I was in China and even put Chinese input in the keyboard.  Nice! 

I had to buy it from a gray market dealer ("shui huo") as the legitimate phones here are intentionally crippled.  They remove the wifi chip so that China Unicom can make more money from their 3G service.  The phone I got was from Australia, I think, as it had English documentation and the spelling was set to EN-au before I changed it. 

Anyway, if anyone has any tips on how to use the phone in China, especially 3G tips, I'd appreciate it!  Maybe I can just use my old SIM with China Mobile GPRS anyway, I'm not a heavy data user.  What do you recommend?
