 :-*I am a new owner of a touch pro2 and am taking my time getting used to it.  I have used windows mobile before and did like it, but this will take some getting used to. Too bad there is no 12 hour class in how to use it.  I'm excited about this phone and hope to use it to it's full potential.  Especially since it was free.   Wink

Hello Im new to the forum world of technology Im here cause Im a huge fan of the htc phones and I just wanna make sure I get the satisfied htc phone for me with no problems of regretting it later. The problem I have is Im with metro pcs and I need to have the phone flashed.

Hey all. Just got a touch pro 2 about a week ago... I've had a Windows Mobile device in the past (HTC Apache, a great piece of technology..) so I know a few things. Right now I have the TP2 just about where I want it. My question is, how can you make it faster, more stable, and improve the multitasking? I want to text and stream music over WiFi without skipping and such. I was playing with it today, and for the most part, it did fine. Few times it would skip, or stop for a few seconds and resume.. Which I expected, but I want to prevent this from happening in the future.

And also, know any neat applications that I should fiddle with? Just looking for something new.

rstreeter: you'll find lots of info on flashing the phone over at ppcgeeks.com. Great resource!!!

Yomega: You'll probable discover quite a view things, as you read along the TP2 specific forums.  You can prolly overclock the phone, but you are still limited by the quirks of the OS and the RAM. It's media capable pda, but not really a mp4 player per se. So, you can only take it so far.

Tried over clocking, but it was unstable.. reseting the phone every time I turn the screen off is unacceptable, lol. Honestly, I haven't found that much issue with using the network for media transfer.. If I had a nice sized SD card, I know this thing would be great for media.. Its what you use is the difference.

For music, I use Nitrogen, for Streams, GSplayer, and I haven't tried videos/movies, but I'll find one for that I know.. when the time comes.

I do like this forum for information though, its filled with it. I have a question. With the touch pro 2 tweaks cab for sprint installed, why does the keyboard stop working? For some odd reason, that cab makes the keyboard stop working, until i reset the phone... Uninstalling and resetting the phone fixes it, but the tweaks are kinda cool.
