Keeping the lens clean helps a lot ... mine always seen to collect a little dirt/dust and condensation.  I have a small lint free cloth in my wallet I use before I shot a pic.

i had the same problem. from the first day even brand new. tried cleaning the lens cover. removed battery cover and cleaned inside of lens cover and the lens. no luck. then i just shot a pic with the battery cover off. it made a world of difference. now i take it off everytime i take a pic. best solution ive come up with so far. i dont want to pop out the little lens cover from the battery cover.

just curious... does anyone else get hazy pics with this device? i thought it was just the way the materials they used for the lens cover on this phone but maybe i just got a bogus one.
