Kind-a obvious, but to extend battery life, turn off all powered serviced that are not in use, e.g. WiFi, BlueTooth, etc. This also makes the device more secure at the same time.

While I've never been worried about battery use with my previous handhelds, these more powerful smart phones seem to certainly draw more kw's Smiley ... Like you, I have always done the 'connections off' thing when not using them for security purposes, it's a good practice.

I charge my phone at the end of every day.  Pretty much all phones, even with heavy usage, can last 1 day.

augh..........battery life is so short on this phone, but the phone is so much user friendly, and has more applications, so I guess it all compensate for the short battery life. When I had motorola q9c, the battery life can last few days w/o charging, even after browsing a few news sites. However, the phone was not a good phone to run youtube and other applications. lol! charging everyday is a must.

Yeah, phone and computer technology has developed at a much faster rate than battery tech, and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.  Charging any high-end phone like ours once a day seems to be the norm at this point, or at least the best we should expect

My battery would not last past 2pm so I decided to get this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002USD0GQ/ref=oss_product

With this battery you can keep your existing cover.  I'll be getting it in a few days and report back as to whether this battery makes a difference.

i often work at the office and rarely doing field activity. I had my Rhodium always connected to my laptop, that's so my Rhodium always ready (fully charged) whenever i'm going out.
For daily usage, emailing, SMS, call, browsing my Rhodium can stands about one and a half day, it's better compared with my previous PDA, Touch Pro.

For energy efficiency, i always set backlight to lowest level (also setup backlight auto-off timer at lowest level), using 3G band only when needed (downloading big size file), turn off connectivity such Wi-fi and bluetooth.
