When you need it, the manual is usually nowhere to be found. So here just really quick on how to do the hard reset:
Turn the phone off; Hold start call and end call keys and (short) press power on; Release start call & end call keys; Follow on-screen instructions.

Thanks for the info, especially since the process is different than on the TP.

Why can't it be this simple with the TP? I don't get it how you hard reset the Touch Pro I use clear storage option.

I have a question about this hard reset, if you do it do you lose all the network information? Registering the device and whatnot? Or is it safe to do this many times especially if you have nothing on the phone? Will the phone revert to something different than what it was supposed to be from Sprint?

It will be reverted to when you originally got it. Some settings might be lost. It should only be used if the phone gets messed up.

Srry. I meant if the phone gets messed up as in unusable. Its meant as a last resort.

You can do a hard reset whenever you want. You will lose all information that is saved to your device and it will reset all settings back to factory settings. Take you storage card out before the hard reset. I don't think it will do anything to the information saved to it but I do it just in case.

one little PS: it will not reset the carrier info that's programmed into your EPST.

Do you lose your contacts or any other info when you set it back to factory settings?
