In a nutshell, it's not there.

There is a gap for the icon (to the right of the battery/charging icon), but it's empty.

OS is 5.2.21887 (21887.5.0.86)

ROM is 2.07.401.1 (80303) WWE

ROM date is 02/04/10

Can anyone help, please?

Sorry, mine does that from time to time too, but simply cycling through a few screens and returning home seems to bring it back.  Soft reset never a bad thing try either.

I am not familiar with this ROM - but could it be that they left out the TaskManager like on the new 6.5 ROMs?

To fix it, you just need to find one that works with your ROM and install it.
