If you ever wondering in Android can run on Windows Mobile phones, we have a video to prove it.

Check out the video by PocketPCNow, this is a video showing Android on an HTC Touch Pro2 (Sprint/CDMA). Many functions work now like calls, data, SMS, the Android Market and more.

If you want Android on your Windows phone, but not sure where to look? they've got you covered, so check out some of the links we've collected. You'll want to check the thread designated for your device. Installation instructions is below

Yeah, my understanding is that it boots off of the SD card, so you keep your native OS in place.

That's interesting - after they get things a little more locked down and cleaned up/stable I might give it a try.

I'm certainly happy with my TP2 w/WinMob 6.1 and will be happy to see 6.5 when Verizon officially releases it to the public.  I am very concerned with the furture WinMo 7 being a smart phone vice pocket pc.

I have heard many good things from my friends with Android phones.  The 'open source' aspect of ap development seem to alway lead to the community creating everything each one of us needs.  It would be neat if the WinMob market place was as 'active' and fulfilling.

While WinMo Marketplace is neither active nor fulfilling (and will only get moreso, as developers switch their attention to writing for WinPhone), WinMo has been so fragmented for so many years, that I've had no trouble finding everything I need with a little searching.  And now, with OMarket, many of the free programs out there are collected and available through one, easy to use on the phone source:

Got it to run. I can make phone calls, and send texts. I just have to figure out how to get the internet connectivity to work.

The only bad part is that I have to take my SIM card out for voice to work.
