The TP2 became available in limited Telstra shops in Australia last Friday (17 July). They were not on display but the staff was happy to unpack and demo one.

that question I wonder about aswell
once youve tried tp2 you dont go back

plus its smells nice Cool I think all 3 of the tp2s i've gone through theyve all smelled gin
its the nice kind of gin smell not the alcoholic part, hmm might aswell be that when I drink I give one big drink to my phone and then the rest to me

ps no I actually dont give my tp2 alcohol its much to young for that I give it coffe instead, someone has to be sober enough and get me home...ds

Well, RRP is $1,499 and I got it for $1,469 (whop-di-doo). But I got a 16GB microSD for the price of 8GB, a free screen protector and I got served by two very nice girls.

Vow! I am also with Telstra, but I bought an unlocked TP2 from a guy that gray imports them from Hong Kong. I paid cash and picked up in person. It came with the FM phone app, plus Garmin's full street directory for AU and NZ (so it will do full navigation with the phone turned off/no data!), an 8GB microSD card, all for .... wait for it (drum roll, please) $1,160. Quite decent I reckon.

Blimey, I'm living in Australia but I bought my TP2 from ebay in the UK - cost me $650 (325 GBP). Jesus these phones are expensive in Aus. Glad I didn't go to Telstra. Feck.
