Is there a way and a place to download different wallpapers or desktop backrounds for the HTC TP2? I downloaded a pic and the only place it would save to is the today drop down screen? Kinda lame there. Be nice to see it on the backround of the desktop? Older P/PC's it was easy to do. In 2010, it seems to be abit harder to do?  Thanks, Wayne-N0ISV

I'm not quite understanding your post. Which screen is the "today drop down screen"?
You can fill a wall paper folder on your phone with a bunch of pictures and you can change your today screen as well as your manila home page / menus screen. To save it as a background for all manila pages, you'll need an app.
I'm not using it myself, but I'm sure it'll pop up somewhere with the tag: "Background for all pages" on xda-developers or ppcgeeks

When I tap on "start" the drop down menu that appears. This backround is the one that changes. Not my desktop backround with all the icons.
The option of where to save a pic, was the "today screen" which appears to be the backround of the start menu?
Must be operator error on my end.
I have several older P/PC's, and on them, if I wanted a pic or something on the desktop backround, (behind the icons) this is where it would be seen, not on the "start, drop down menu area"?

no, you're not doing anything wrong here, they went and changed that all up for us.
There is the conventional Desktop area, the one that gets affected by:
Start/Settings/Menu/All Settings/Today/Appearance - and you check off the box and pick your background picture.
Then there's the Manila or TouchFlo 3D Background, the Desktop that now holds your clock etc.:
Start/Settings/Personalize/Home Tab Wallpaper/Animated Wallpaper/Albums..... go to the location where your picture is and chose it.
That should do ya!
