Downloaded and Flashed the ROM from the HTC website (UK), worked fine on my sim free UK TP2. Took a couple of hours to get everything back where it was. Had to reboot my laptop to get Sync Centre to see the phone but so far everything is fine. They seem to have removed the bluetooth nag when disconnecting from my car kit, which is a bonus. Generally liking it, especially the Programs Tab. Time will tell if bugs start appearing.

For EASTERN EUROPE ENGLISH go here: http://www.htc.com/cz/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=750&news_id=331Apparently its been out since 6th of November but HTC doesn't bother to tell us. I had a big argument with them today about this. I talked to different persons from their customer service and all of them were giving me false and contradicting information. First they told me its going to be out on the 11th and i should return on the same site and get it. Guess what? Its not there. After that i contacted them again and this time they told me my device was made for Czech Republic although i bought it in another country. Furthermore, the guy told me to go on the CZ website and get it from there when it comes out because its not out right now. I went to the website and it was there, available since 6th!!! Damn, these guys are poorly informed! Anyway, i'm totally dissatisfied with their customer service. Not to mention that i wasn't even aware of the fact that the device was made for the CZ. There's no real way of getting this kind of information on their website. Enjoy!

just go to www.htc.com, select your country. Click on the Support link and then find your provider & phone in the drop-down menu.

reliazed another change in winmo 6.5 you can film in 3 formats now H.263, MPEG4 and H.264 I only had MPEG 4 before (quite certain of that not 100% though)
they seem to have hidden ms gui quite well I almost never see it now adays (not counting the start menu) unless I need to send something over btooth and as allways I forget that there is a way to do it in total commander so I allways go with their ms explorer
tried the new internet explorer some aswell and it has a much nicer flow to it now I really like it (but I still mainly use opera, it still has some advantages... psychological? maybe, but theyr there somewhere in the tabs)
I missed the hd2 home menu where you can store your apps on the first screen but with ms new highly improved but still laking in functions start menu it isnt as bad as it could be. I hardly never use htc own program tab due to the start menu has all the programs you install in the grasp of a couple of touches (though it is anoying that all you can do is move the application to the top and not move it around to where you actually want it but after a while you stop thinking about it and just use it)
what else is there to talk about after having used winmo 6.5 for a while hmm well there are some slowdowns after a while but then you just realize that you have a 30k word file open the sms app is started etc etc so when shutting down all those apps the phone goes back to a nice pace again.
there is some bug with my btooth headset but I think that is because of some application Ive installed. the bug does so that the phone locks itself after Ive spoken to someone so I cant turn the lcd on again (it might have something to do with the application clean ram that I use sometimes not sure though but I have my suspicions) but its fixed by taking out the battery quickly and turning on the phone again.
the system boot on the phone is 3s for touch pro 2 logo 28s htc logo 45s windows logo 1m 3s windows login 1m 55s htc tf3d start and phone ready to go after boot up there is 81.20MB free memory
now to winmos defence I can add that I have quite many applications installed and theres 6 apps in my autostart folder (wich isnt that many though)
overall its htcs and microsofts finest work to days date if you ask me. the biggest drawback is the slightly larger memory footprint it makes in the phone, but as I said before after Ive started most my applications I have aproximitly 30MB left and that is enough for me...
hopefully now you know a bit more of what you are getting yourself into with winmo 6.5

Carrier specific roms do not fall into the same category. Its up to the carriers to release roms. Only the sim free phones get official updates from HTC. Of course the updates will be posted on HTC's support website. Contact T-Mobile about it.

Thanks for that. I just now tried running the other one and it was corrupted from within the zip file, which seems strange.
